Buongiorno e Benvenuto in one of the most picturesque corners of the world. Markus Hintermeier and Imke Brueren, who have lived in Italy for over two decades, fell madly in love with the breathtaking natural beauty and charming villages of Le Marche, as well as its warm-hearted community in 2019. As an architect and freelance artist, they developed the vision of creating a refuge in the southern Marche, a holiday home for all those who long for a still authentic Italy, unique scenic beauty, the best food and good wines.
Buongiorno e Benvenuto in one of the
most beautiful places
The ambitious goal was to create places where the soul of the Marche region can be felt: Places where the picturesque landscape and the lively atmosphere of the region are close at hand. The residences enjoy the proximity to the glittering sea, surrounded by kilometres of fine sandy beaches lined with palm trees, and at the same time offer breathtaking views of the majestic Sibillini mountains, which are covered in white snow in winter and spring and on whose plains vast fields of poppies bloom in early summer.
Here, in these carefully selected spots, nature, culture, art and cuisine come together to create an unrivalled experience. Places that are not just a holiday destination, but an invitation to fall in love with the unspoilt beauty and rich history of the Marche region. Sanctuaries that promise to turn every visit into an unforgettable memory.
Le Marche
Le Marche is located in east-central Italy between the Adriatic coast and the Apennine mountains, an area that has been largely spared from mass tourism. Sure, the Adriatic coast has been a Mecca for sun-seeking beach holidaymakers for decades, but only a few of them venture away from the beaches into the interior, where you can find places where time seems to have stood still – something you won‘t find anywhere else in central Italy. In the Marche, visitors are not overwhelmed by culture, but are offered it in digestible portions, but of the highest quality.

Hosts
Your hosts, Imke Brueren and Markus Hintermeier, warmly welcome you to the beautiful Marche region and the exceptionally beautiful country villa of Casa Piane Pettirossi and wish you an unforgettable time. Many guests love the personal touch and are always happy to return to the Marche and Casa Piane Pettirossi.
‘We found a wonderful spot between Petritoli and Monterubbiano that confirmed exactly that. A magical view of the landscape, enchanting villages, the sunset in the Sibillini mountains. As an architect and artist, it was important to us to build a house that fits in with the given aesthetics of traditional buildings. So we used traditional materials such as Mattoni bricks, wood and handmade tiles for Casa Piane Pettirossi. In addition, the house was equipped with modern technology.’
